Strathfield Childcare Centre Redevelopment
My project aims to satisfy the needs of Strathfield, where the growing high-density living has led to the growth of young families and therefore increased demand for local childcare. By redesigning an existing design, I aimed to showcase ways in which childcare centres can adapt to accommodate the influx of both children and staff members. My design includes sustainable technologies with highly accessible features to improve the overall quality of the design. Through this, I would also like surrounding centres to take inspiration and employ similar elements. Overall, my project aims to promote childcare centres by implementing features that help to accommodate an increase in children at the centre.
