Concord West Community Garden
For my Major Design Project, I have redesigned an unused council space for the community to come and converse with one another while increasing their skills and knowledge of gardening and plants. This space is designed to facilitate the teaching and learning of different skills related to gardening. The space will host workshops that teach the applicable nature of plants in one's own kitchen and home. They will take place indoors in a space where you can comfortably sit, listen, and try it yourself. They will also take place outdoors, where you can be immersed with the plants for a more hands-on experience. By designing community space, it will provide a place to bring the community together and build a stronger community.
