Sink
Sometimes we sink deeply into our memories. In my Body of Work, I have used animation to represent my memory of leaving China and coming to Australia as an international student. It was challenging for me and my mother to adapt to the new environment, the Western food, the increasing number of quarrels, and especially the homesickness. Even though the harsh reality is not going to change in a short time, those memories remind us of our former hardships and give us a little hope to look forward to the future.
