The Thermal Current
I am interested in appearance versus reality. My photographic series and paintings explore this through the use of thermal imaging, presenting the illusions and deception of everyday life. By using thermography to explore appearance versus reality, I am able to present my everyday life as a sensory experience, provoking deeper thought and reflection. I intend to show how illusions are a function of reality and can be used to articulate the world that surrounds us, conveyed through my perception of urban life.
