Overlooked Minutiae
My Body of Work focuses on the fragility of nature and its overlooked state. The enlarged details of the flower reinforce the beauty of nature and its forgotten place in a world which is becoming more fast-paced and devoid of detail. The wisteria references my childhood, shaping my perception of the natural world as it stood the test of time, blooming and withering only to bloom again a year later. This reminds me of our fragility yet endurance through changing times, whether through natural disasters or human urbanisation.
